QQQ opened 0.58% above its prior close and finished 0.63% higher. SPY opened up 0.40% and ended 0.46% higher, leaving QQQ ahead by 0.18 percentage points. Both reached session highs near 15:55, at 0.85% for QQQ and 0.67% for SPY. Germany’s annual CPI was 2.0% versus a 2.2% estimate, while Chicago PMI came in at 40.4 versus 42.7 expected.
