Jobs data and Meta nuclear deals accompany broad market gains

QQQ opened 0.27% higher and gained 1.03%, while SPY opened up 0.23% and rose 0.72%, leaving QQQ ahead by 0.31 percentage points. December nonfarm payrolls increased by 50,000 versus 60,000 expected, while unemployment was 4.4% versus 4.5% forecast. TSMC reported $33.1 billion in quarterly revenue, and Meta secured more than 6 gigawatts of nuclear power through agreements with Vistra, Oklo and TerraPower.
