QQQ moved from a 0.57% opening gain to finish 0.96% above the prior close, while SPY went from a 0.44% opening gain to a 1.17% advance. SPY led by 0.21 percentage points. First-quarter GDP grew at a 2.0% annualized rate, below the 2.3% forecast, while March core PCE inflation rose to 3.2% from 3.0%. AI hardware supply and memory costs remained in focus.
