Bloomberg reported that Qualcomm reached an AI-chip agreement with ByteDance. Meta filed notice of 1,395 planned King County layoffs, while an overnight report said SK Hynix sought supply agreements of at least five years, higher prepayments and minimum-price guarantees from major technology customers.
The Wall Street Journal corrected its report to say Operation Sentinel had not restarted. USTR said the 10% global tariff could be reimposed after July, and the Reserve Bank of New Zealand held rates after a 3-3 vote decided by its governor.
