Iran said its current talks were with Oman over safe passage through the Strait of Hormuz, not with the United States. Separately, OPEC+ agreed to raise its September production quota by 188,000 barrels per day.
A report said TSMC could reach its 3nm monthly output target early. TrendForce separately forecast about 90% growth in 2026 capital spending by the nine largest cloud providers and raised its AI-server shipment outlook.
